Huawei MediaPad X1 with 7″ FHD display announced

Huawei MediaPad X1 is the companies latest 7” Android tablet for Chinese market, which has resently appeared on Chinese Tenaa certification (China‘s equivalent of the FCC).  the device it self is more compact and lighter than the Nexus 7 (2013) and has a similar 7” TFT screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution.

The MediaPad X1 7.0 comes with a 7-inch screen that packs a 1920 x 1080p full HD display, a quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 Hisilicon 910 Kirin processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, an ARM Mali-450 GPU and boots Android v4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It isn’t completely clear at the moment.

The Huawei MediaPad X1 features a 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 5MP back camera with 1080p video capture.

It features tri-band 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. There’s also a USB port and HDMI out. The built-in memory is expandable via microSD cards.

Huawei mediapad x1 7.0 Huawei MediaPad X1 7.0 with 7 FHD display to hit China this month. No word on pricing or availability yet, but the device is set to hit the Chinese market this month.
