Jolla Sailfish OS team have decided they’d be invading the world through Android. Before Sailfish 1.0 is launched across the whole world with smashing success, the company has decided they’d be rolling in a way for users on Android (the most common OS out there today for phones) to test their Jolla-made bits. This test will come in the form of a launcher . Jolla hopes to lead you into temptation soon with a launcher for Android that mimics the Sailfish UI. Also during the first half of this year, Jolla plans to offer full firmware downloads for your handsets if you want to end it with Android altogether. The community around open-source Sailfish has successfully ported the OS to a number of devices, but we believe a formal and user-friendly method of distribution is what's being suggested. Jolla has released Keira Black and Aloe Other Halves rear panels for the recently released Jolla smartphone . They are called Keira Black and Aloe. Until now there were no Halves beyond those coming in your retail box by default. Both Other Halves will bring new look on your Jolla phone, new tones, wallpaper and some other exclusive stuff, which hasn’t been confirmed. The first is the Keira Black cover, which comes in a cool flat black, while the other is simply called Aloe, and is a subtle shade of green.   Jolla released Keira Black and Aloe Fix either of them to your Jolla phone and you’ll instantly get an exclusive, specially created ringtone and other unique system sounds, plus new wallpaper which fits in with the theme of the cover.
