Sony Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z to receive Android KitKat updates in May

Sony has already announced Android 4.4 KitKat update for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z flagship phones, which was already under development and the new firmware would be available in May or June. Now, we have a confirmation that the update is scheduled to roll out for the above mentioned devices, starting in May. The updated product page of Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z reveal that the upcoming update will start rolling in a month's time. However, there is no timeline provided, but we expect the new firmware to reach consumers by the end of May. Google Working on Redesigned stock Android icons

Google is about to give the stock Android user interface a visual overhaul. Documents and screenshots obtained by Android Police reveal redesigned icons coming our way in the near future. Reportedly, the new direction in Android iconography is dubbed Moonshine. It is similar to the style used by Google for its online services, and utilizes flatter-looking icons. See it below. It must be noted that the leaked icons might not be final in terms of design. Everything could be subject to change before the things go official. The new style is apparently referred to as Moonshine, and this flatter look is likely just a portion of an upcoming redesign. We're still awaiting details on what else may change, but for now, all we can do is look forward to new icons for Play Music, Books, Movies, and Games; as well as Google+, Calendar, People, Chrome, YouTube, Maps, Gmail, Hangouts, Camera, and the Play Store. LG Optimus G Android 4.4.2 update this summer

The LG Optimus G was launched bacl in the December 2012 with the Android 4.0.3 version and then updated once to Android 4.1.2 in March, 2013. after that the product has been abandoned by LG. While, it's Nexus 4 brother was getting regular updates from Google, Optimus G was still not, now thing's getting a little bit better as there are rumors suggest that the Optimus G indeed will get an Android Kitkat 4.4.2 update after all. According to French carrier, SFR, LG will issue an update for the Optimus G this summer, bumping it three versions, from Android 4.1.2 to 4.4.2. This is unprecedented in the Android community, and will hopefully save the device from premature obsolescence. HTC One 2014 Hands-On video in 14-minute

HTC's upcoming HTC One 2014 has set to unveiled tomorrow, in meantime  The All New HTC One , has made another appearance on the web ahead of its official release. The latest is a detailed hands-on video of what appears to be a final retail version of HTC's upcoming One (M8) that gives a pretty clear picture about what to expect from HTC at its March 25 event. Approximately 14-minute long video (in German) shows the HTC M8's dual-camera capabilities, UI, power-saving mode and other features. CyanogenMod for Nokia X might coming soon

It seems that at least one member of the CyanogenMod team has gotten their hands on the Nokia X and are reporting that things are looking promising. Abhisek Devkota, listed as the Head Public Relations Liaison & Forum Administrator for Cyanogen Mod has posted a picture of the Nokia X on Google+ saying ‘Let’s see what CM can do on this thing…’. All though he isn’t confirming the device is already running CM, they look eager to getting the custom ROM on the device as many different things annoyed. The post which has only just gone up, doesn’t say much but he has continued in the comments, advising that : The notification bar only comes down 50%. There is only 1 button: back. Long pressing back takes you home. I haven’t figured out out how to multitask. AFAIK the recent apps are only accessible from the home screen. Nokia X smartphone has successfully rooted , the smartphone was just announced day's before wrapped by custom UI set by Finn's upon the Android 4.4 Kitkat version, now the member of XDA Developers Root Nokia X Android handset. Nokia has unveiled its first three Android smartphones X, the X+ and the XL  , which all  run on a 'customized' version of Android operating system and will not have access to Play Store. the Nokia X phones will rely on the open-source nature of Android and will be able to run Android apps. This means that Android developers will be able to port their apps to these Nokia phones with ‘little effort’ (as Nokia claims). This also means that the phones will rely on Microsoft’s cloud apps and services instead of Google’s (so no Gmail, Chrome or Google Maps unless they’re specifically ported over). Nokia's low end Nokia X Android phone Price ( Normandy ) has listed in an e-commerce website in Vietnam, purportedly revealing the innards of the rumored device.  According to the Vietnamese online listing, the alleged Nokia X will come with a 4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 480x854 (FWVGA) pixels; 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor; 5-megapixel rear camera; micro-SD card support and running Android 4.4 KitKat.
