Sony has already announced Android 4.4 KitKat update for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z flagship phones, which was already under development and the new firmware would be available in May or June. Now, we have a confirmation that the update is scheduled to roll out for the above mentioned devices, starting in May. The updated product page of Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z reveal that the upcoming update will start rolling in a month's time. However, there is no timeline provided, but we expect the new firmware to reach consumers by the end of May. Sony has launched the compact edition of the Xperia Z1 in India for a price of Rs 36,990. The Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is listed on Sony's official website and will be available to purchase from major online and physical retail stores across the country. The phone was originally announced at CES 2014 in January, as a miniature flagship edition of the Sony Xperia Z1. Unlike other mini-flagships from brands like Samsung and HTC , the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact doesn’t compromise on specifications. The phone offers the similar top-end features of its bigger sibling, including a 4.3-inch Triluminos HD display, 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. Sony Xperia G has appeared in another image leak now, this time allowing us to see a bit more of its rear. To be clear,  its side has even been leaked in a picture in which its shown underneath an Xperia Z1 for whatever reason. So once again, that’s said to be the Xperia G under the Z1 in the image below. Judging from its size, the G should have a screen size between 4.3 and 4.7 inches diagonally.. Sony Xperia G is the upcoming rumored smartphone, which we got treated to a first look photo of the upcoming device made arounds on Twitter. This time around, the image comes with alleged specs for the mid-range smartphone. Sony Xperia G Specifications According to the source of the leaked images, the Sony Xperia G will feature LTE connectivity, 4.8” display of unknown resolution (720p is likely), 8MP camera, 8GB of built-in memory (microSD card slot was clearly visible in the first leak), and a gig of RAM. Sony Xperia SP Android 4.3 update rolling out

Finally Sony has started to rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Xperia SP flagship phone, t he update is currently only available in Malaysia and Australia, and you have to use Sony’s PC Companion desktop software to download and install it to your phone. This may obviously change in the near future, when the update should also start rolling out over-the-air. It’s also expected to reach more territories, but when exactly is anyone’s guess. It’s unclear when it will reach your particular device. Oh, and if you bought your Xperia SP unlocked and SIM-free you have the chance of getting the update quicker than those who purchased theirs from a carrier. While it carries an OmniBalance design similar to the Xperia Z1, this new D6503 has a few notable differences. Those include slightly smaller side bezels, a lanyard hole that's switched sides from the Z1 and a bottom speaker that takes the form of three small holes rather than one large mesh cutout.
