Apple and HTC patent  war started from early  March 2nd, 2010, when Apple filed lawsuits with the ITC (International Trade Commission )and US District Court. covering a 20 patents related to Apple’s iOS, which HTC has been infringing , and since from there it was a war. but now both HTC’s CEO, Peter Chou and Apple’s Tim Cook have taken a little talk and eneded with the new 10 year contract settlement.
“HTC is pleased to have resolved its dispute with Apple, so HTC can focus on innovation instead of litigation,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC.
“We are glad to have reached a settlement with HTC,” said Tim Cook, CEO of Apple. “We will continue to stay laser focused on product innovation.
The settlement applies to all past and future patents for the companies, meaning we shouldn't be witnessing another HTC Vs Apple law suit, but still we might again see Apple Vs Samsung ?
