Apple iPad Mini Announced, 7.9-inch iPad mini with a 1,024 x 768 display, A5 CPU and optional LTE
Yesterday we have seen the Apple's next anticipated press conference( live streamed here ). in which Apple's next Flagship Tablet iPad mini is unveiled, the new tablet is a 7.9-inch tablet that's made for the 7 Inch tablet competition in the market like Google Nexus 7.
The new iPad Mini has a 1,024 x 768, 7.9-inchLED-backlit IPS (163 PPI) display a 5 MP camera (1080p) and an LTE modem (optional), it's running the last-generation Dual-core A5 CPU. the device is capable of 10 hours of battery usage despite of the slimness of device. and of course the pricing, the16GB WIFI model is priced $329, pre-orders begin October 26th and will begin shipping on November 2nd. The cellular-LTE featured models will begin shipping a few weeks afterward on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, with the 16GB base model costing $459, running all the way to $659 for the 64GB unit.
As mentioned earlier the device has two variants LTE capable and WiFi Only, both the devices are same when comes to other specifications than the LTE option. both models will have Bluetooth 4.0 support, all packed in an ultra 7.2mm thickness and 308g (0.68 pounds) weight. as the new iPad mini is a mightier competitor on 7 Inch Tablet segment with Google's Nexus 7, but still Google have one big advantage -the pricing, yes indeed Google Nexus 7 is more affordable than the new iPad Mini and only lack of the Radio models, but still we might see an magic from Google on October 26th ?
