SkyDrive mobile app updated on Windows and Mac OS desktop

Microsoft has just updated its SkyDrive app on iOS and Windows Phone to version 2.0. The application now supports the iPad, including the Retina screen on the latest one,and added more features for user for simplify usage on both platforms



you can now choose multiple images or videos to upload from your device.

Update: Microsoft has also released desktop apps for Windows and MacOS allowing you a local access to your files but for now this are just for preview versions , but still you can count on what will be next coming sonn

iOS changelog:

Open your SkyDrive files in other iOS apps.


SkyDrive is integrated with Windows Phone so the update on this platform is a welcome improvement too. And here is the official changelog for the Windows Phone versions:
Access all of your SkyDrive content including files shared with you.
View recently used documents.
Upload photos or videos from your phone.
Share your files and photos—send a link in email or get a link you can copy and paste.
Manage your files—move, delete, rename, or create new folders.


As part of SkyDrive’s new desktop , Microsoft have changed the service storage options. Instead of the previous 25GB data storage , new users will only get 7GB for free usage . Existing users will only be allowed to keep their 25GB , if they log in to their accounts and accept “the free upgrade to 25GB that’s available to for loyal users for a limited period of time”.
