Nokia's new updated Asha Touch line up is here, with the new addition of Aasha 308 and 309 smart phones, as the Mobile market is fluded with Quad-core processors and Larger screen phablet's there Aasha lines is a little different as it spotting on entry level market with cheaper pricing and more durability.

The new Members in the Asha's 40 series family has nothing stunning than an ordinary smart phone. the both models spots identical pair of capacitive 3-inchers run the same Series 40 OS and even share the same specs: 800MHz processor, WQVGA resolution, 1,110mAh battery, 20MB internal storage plus included 2GB microSD (expandable to 32GB), 2-megapixel rear camera and EDGE connectivity. Where they differ is in the 308's additional support for GSM/EDGE 850, 1900MHz bands and Easy Swap dual SIM accommodation.  the main difference between these two models is this dual- and single-SIM pair card support.

The device design is somewhat identical to Nokia's previous successor N8 and N9 smart phones. and has the MeeGo-like swipe interface look for device which is powered by a 800MHz processor inside( Note that  the previous N8 smart phone was also Running on 800Mhz processor with decent performance ). Apart UI  there is a micro-USB port, a 3.mm headphone jack at top, with the volume rocker and lock key on the right  a second full-sized SIM (308 ) on the opposite edge.

And there is more to offer as the new faster Xpress brower that allows for up to 90% compression, Nokia Nearby for local search, and the same swipe-based UI like N9. and a very fair pricing of $99 without contract, which is a decent smart phone isn't it ?, hope the new Asha lines will debut soon, which might see first in India.
