Latest Samsung Galaxy S4 Concept Video Shows Edge-to-Edge Display, Ultra-thin Body, and Much more

Image
The samsung Galaxy S4 is the next new flagship phone from Samsung.  the best kept secret and least leaked phone in the history of tech, we are left with concept ideas to fuel the hypebeast engine. In this spot, put together by Rozetked, we get to see a vision of what Samsung’s next best device could turn out to be. In the video, the Galaxy S4 is presented as the GT-i9500, which makes logical sense, since the Galaxy S3 was the GT-i9300 (internationally). This depiction also shows off a device that is incredibly thin, looks a lot like the Galaxy S3, sports a 1080p AMOLED edge-to-edge display, 2.0GHz quad-core processor, 13MP camera, physical home button, and runs Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie). It’s not completely out of this world or outlandish. All of that – or at least bits and pieces of it – could show up in the next Galaxy. But there is one feature which we know will most definitely not be making the cut and that’s the gesture-activated laser keyboard (1:00 mark). No, sir. In f

Nexus 7 Refusing to Charge : Here is the fix

Image
After the latest Android 4.2 Update some of the nexus 7's out there facing some major problems, and most of it has charging issue with the Nexus 7. As users leave their tablet idle for an extended period of time or use it for hours until the battery runs completely dry, the device is having a hell of a time charging back up again or even turning on. In fact, if you let your Nexus 7 die completely, you may run into a screen flashing or pixel party experience once plugged into a charger that won’t bring you joy. The device, at least mine and in others’ cases, won’t turn on with any combination of button pressing. Well, there is one combo along with a charger that worked for me, getting my N7 back on the charging path of pleasure. To charge a dead Nexus 7: 1. Plug-in your dead N7 to a wall charger. (Jump immediately to step 2.) 2. Immediately after plugging it in, press Volume Down and Power at the same time. *This should get you into the bootloader menu. You may have to try th

HTC HD2 Sucessfully ported with Windows RT

Image
The HTC HD2 smartphone was launched in 2009 it shipped with Windows Mobile 6.5, and many customers were disappointed when Microsoft released Windows Phone 7 later that year and the HD2 didn’t get an upgrade. Now a hacker named CotullaCode has shoehorned Windows RT onto the aging smartphone . This is a very unofficial project. Windows RT is basically a stripped down version of Windows 8 designed to run on devices with ARM-based processors… but Microsoft doesn’t sell it as a user-installable operating system. Instead, the only official way to get Windows RT is to buy a tablet or other device that comes with it preloaded. That makes CotullaCode’s work all the more impressive — but it’s not something I expect many people to do. While Windows RT is designed for touchscreen devices, it’s really meant for devices with tablet-sized screens, not phones. It’s also designed for devices with significantly more RAM than the HD2′s 512MB and faster processors than the 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon c

HTC to launch Windows 8 tablets in 2013 with 7 and 12 inch Screen size

Image
HTC to launch Windows 8  tablets  in 2013 with 7 and 12 inch Screen size : HTC may not be pushing any tablets at the moment. But the smartphone maker reportedly plans to get back into the tablet game next year with the introduction of new 7 and 12 inch tablets running Windows software. Bloomberg reports the tablets will run Windows RT rather than Windows 8 or Windows Phone software, which suggests that they’ll have ARM-based processors much like HTC’s line of smartphones. Speaking of phones, the 7 inch tablet is expected to have phone calling functionality — although I certainly hope that means it comes with a wired or Bluetooth headset, because holding a 7 inch tablet up to your head to make a call is a bit embarrassing. Most Windows RT tablets we’ve seen to date have had 10 inch displays, but there’s nothing stopping companies from producing models with smaller or bigger screens. But what remains to be seen is whether there’s large demand for tablets that can only run some Window

Samsung Preparing a 7 Inch Galaxy Note Model ?

Image
Samsung has only offered two versions of the Galaxy Note at a time: A large phone-sized model with a 5+ inch screen and a 10.1 inch model. Now it looks like the company could be preparing a 7 inch model as well… or at least some sort of new model. The Samsung Galaxy Note is distinguished by the “S Pen” stylus that comes with it. Both the phone and tablet models include these pressure-sensitive pens which you can use to write or draw on the screen, as well as apps for drawing, taking notes, and doing more. Each Galaxy Note released to date has had a model number of GT-Nxxx, so when a GT-N5100 device popped up at the DLNA testing site last month, the folks at SamMobile took notice . Now SamMobile has spotted some more info about the device — this time at the GLBenchmark site. While there’s no mention of screen size, the benchmark info shows a device running Android 4.1.2 with a 1.6 GHz processor (likely a Samsung Exynos 4412) and a 1280 x 800 pixel display. Since 7 inch tablets are

Acer Iconia B1 tablet to sell for around $99

Image
Acer is going to annouce the new  7 inch tablet is expected to launch early next year ( debut expected in the CES 2013 )and according to the Wall Street Journal , it will sell for around $99. At that price it will be competitive with low-cost tablets from white box Chinese device makers… but like those tablets, Acer plans to sell its $99 tablet primarily in emerging markets including China. In other words, while the Acer Iconia B1 passed through the FCC websiterecently, it’s not clear that Acer has any plans to sell this budget tablet in the US. The Acer Iconia B1 is expected to have a 1.2 GHz processor (possibly manufactured by MediaTek), PowerVR SGX 531 graphics, and a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display. While those specs are pretty underwhelming by 2012/2013 standards, they should be enough to offer a decent tablet experience. It wasn’t that long ago that most 7 inch tablets had slower processors and similar (or lower) screen resolutions. The WSJ reports that Acer also plans to

You can also pick them up pretty cheap if you keep an eye out for deals on used or refurbished models . Bell,  Rogers and Telus, three major Canadian carriers are now offering the Windows Phone 8 powered Samsung ATIV S. It has a 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display and a TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor. It’s not quite as fast as a Nexus 7, and the screen resolution is lower. But it’s not a bad device if you’ve already got one lying around -- and you can pick up a refurbished Kindle Fire from Best Buy for $130 . From time to time retailers offer even lower prices. Amazon offers a newer Kindle Fire (2nd generation) with a slightly faster processor and software based on Android 4.0. This build of Android 4.2 isn’t designed for that tablet. It also won’t work on the Kindle Fire HD 7 or
