Micromax announced Canvas Turbo Mini and Canvas Knight

Micromax has announced the latest A200 Canvas Turbo Mini smartphone, just a week after the A119 Canvas XL phablet went official. The new A200 Canvas Turbo Mini features a 4.7" 720p IPS display and runs on a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 processor coupled with Mali-400MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM (that's the MT6582 chip), and dual-SIM support. Listed on the website at Rs 14490, only the blue variant appears to be available. It comes with a 4GB internal memory and is expandable up to 32GB. It runs on Android Jelly Bean (4.2.2) and with the 1800mAh battery, this Micromax claims to deliver 6.5 hours of talk time on full charge.

The Canvas Turbo Mini A200 will compete with the Gionee Elife E5 mini, which has a 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera and 1GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory. It is available for Rs 15,999.

Micromax Canvas Knight A350


Micromax will soon launch their first octa core handset in India. It will be the Micromax Canvas Knight A350. In fact this handset has already been announced in Russia. It has been a week since MMX has entered the Russian Market.

Micromax Canvas Knight A350 has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 2 GHz octa-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It features a 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Canvas Turbo was 8.66mm thick, but this would be much thinner at 7.3mm. Looking at the images, the phone is expected to come with dual SIM support, with slots on both the sides and a non-removable back cover. It would come with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The phone would also come with Canvas Tube video app and Canvas Beat music app. A Russian forum has got hold of more press images of the phone, which shows the phone in Black and White colors.

We currently don’t have any detail regarding the price of this device. Once we receive the information we will surely update this post with the price. Estimated : 20,000 – 25,000 INR.
