NVIDIA Tegra Note tablet is now available for $200

The NVIDIA Tegra Note is a 7 inch Android tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor, a 1280 x 800 pixel display, and a special passive stylus that supports pressure-sensitive input. NVIDIA is partnering with a number of hardware companies to produce and sell Tegra Note tablets around the globe, and now one of the first models is available in the US.

While the Tegra Note doesn’t have the full HD screen you get with some other 7 inch tablets (like the 2013 Google Nexus 7 or the Amazon Kindle HDX), it can handle HD video playback and just about any Android game you can throw at it.

The tablet has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software. also designed for gaming, and features NVIDIA’s speedy ARM Cortex-A15 quad-core processor and support for the Tegra Zone game store as well as the Google Play Store.

The tablet also supports wireless game controllers, has HDMI output for streaming videos, games, or other content to your TV, and features a microSD card slot for extra storage space.

You can pick up an EVGA Tegra Note 7 from Newegg for $200.

Samsung GALAXY S5 will have plastic and metal versions
