A 3D printer isn't anything really special anymore as we have been so many 3D printers in Kickstarter project starting from $350 to up. But what about this FORM 1 printer, costing arround $2,300 - for that we need to go a little more deeper into the Tech of 3D printers.

The Affordable 3D printer units are works on the principle of layering out molten plastic in layers. but when comes to the new FORM 1, which uses a new method called stereolithography that blasts liquid plastic with a laser, causing the resin to cure. which is the most accurate methods of additive manufacturing, but still more expensive as the high-end optics will be costing tens of thousand dollars.

But now the Fromlads foundation, a group from MIT Labs members has managed to replicate this process for afraction of the cost and to deliver their innovations to the public. and amazingly the project has passed its $100,000 goal in just one day and now over $250,000 had been pledged and the first 25 printers have already been claimed.

As the new device,FORM 1 is capable of creating objects with layers as thin as 25 microns , and the company had managed to make it more stylish and affordable and if you want to get a entry then the price is raised to $2,500- but still the price is worth it ? take a look at the video below or get into Kickstarter.
