If you go want to buy the new Apple's iPhone 5 and head to online Apple store now and  try to order an iPhone you’d have to settle for a 3 to 4 week waiting period. which has already disappointed much of Apple fan's. According to Bloomberg this is because of The new In cell Touch technology based thin iPhone 5 display supply can’t match the huge demand.

Apple has earlier predicted on this over flow of product, that's why they have already reached not only its existing display manufacturing partners LG Display Co. and Japan Display Inc., but also Sharp. still, Apple's sales figures has been over flowed more than expected. which lead to and massive amount of shortage.

But still you have to remember that Apple has already sold a 5 Million of iPhone 6 devices in just opening weekend, so that might be a little arguing fact but iPhone 5 fan's can be more patient ? more over, this shortage will likely be one that display manufacturers will overcome quickly, but it’s just not yet clear.
