Corning promises Gorilla Glass 3 For CES 2013


For every Smart phone and tablet makers the Corning Gorilla Glass is a  familiar term, the sturdy glass material which has proven tougher to shatter or scratch than traditional glass. Now Corning is getting ready to launch the third generation of Gorilla Glass, which is even tougher to break.

Gorilla Glass 3 will be on display at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas, and if previous Corning displays are anything to go by, I suspect the company will be putting glass panels through some heavy duty stress tests for the amusement of journalists.

The company says Gorilla Glass 3 is 3 times more scratch resistant than its predecessors, and if you do manage to scratch the surface of your phone or tablet, the scratches will be 40 percent less visible thanks to the way the glass is formulated.

According to Samsung Galaxy S5 manufacturing plans, Samsung Galaxy S5 in the future there will be two versions.
